Mechanical Keyboards for osu!
Switches
Which switch to pick? Your best option would be red switches, more specifically Gateron Reds but Cherry Reds are good as well. The reason for this is that red switches are the lightest switches and many pro players use them. If you're thinking to get blue switches for your keyboard (mosy budget boards come with blue switches but check to make sure) MAINLY for osu! You might have to change them as blue switches are known for being distracting and 20g heavier than reds. Most people avoid blue switches as they are bad to play with.
Build Quality
Why should you care about build quality? The reason you should is that bad quality could break your osu! expirience. If for example a budget keyboard could have inconsistent actuations making some switches on your keyboard heavier than others. This could ruin potential SS and FC's. It's better to read a review about the keyboard you're getting to make sure it has good quality.
Price
Do NOT get a mechanical keyboard below 40$ unless the keyboard has great reviews and consistent switches. For good quality products I'd recommend getting a keyboard over 50$ with red switches such as Rantopad MXX or Ikbc F87 as a good starter as they both have red switch options. Good brands that are respected around the osu community are Corsair, Coolermaster, and Ducky. Remember, High prices does not always mean high quality. *Razer ahem*
Conclusion
In conclusion, get a red switch keyboard with good quality and a reasonable price.
